I created EducatorLaunch as a space for preservice and beginning secondary teachers to get information on all things teaching and classrooms. We know that 44% of teachers leave the profession in their first five years (Ingersoll, 2018), and that was in pre-Covid years! The teaching profession is facing major shortages, and as of November, 2021, 48% of teachers reported that they had considered changing jobs in the last month. The objective of this site is to provide prospective and provide new teachers with the information, strategies, and resources that will inform and support them in their launch into the teaching profession!
